(HELP/PLT)
RICHMOND
S C H O O L D I S T R I C T N O . 3 8
You're falling behind in math, what should I do?
Math is a challenge for quite a bit of students which is why PLT exists
PLT also known as Personal Learning Time, is a time that is dedicated to help students catch up on missing assignments, do their homework, or study for a test
When does PLT start?
after block A on wednesdays and thursdays (unless stated otherwise)
Where do I sign up?
Here
Is PLT Mandatory?
Yes it is mandatory which is free studying time, so there's little to no excuse now.
Failing math

Sometimes, you might not even get a mark because they can't evaluate how you work if you don't
Here is what usually happens if you fail math
If you're grade 7....
You don't need to worry about failing math 7 with the exception of incentive, if you do fail, don't even think about incentive unless if you somehow save your math grade
If you're grade 9....
Nothing really happens
although you might get held back in the previous math grade
If you're grade 10....
You might get expelled from the school, and also, if you fail all the previous grades, you're most likely unable to graduate highschool
If you're grade 11....
If you fail here, then you're done for
If you're grade 12....
don't even think about getting a good job
If you're grade 8....
Obviously, no chance of incentive. If you fail math 8, you'll most likely get put in mathworkplace 9
